rhythm

This week is all about getting back into our rhythm. Quiet mornings met with gentle work loads... baking and laundry. Imaginary play. Crafting. Learning.

Today we built a castle in our living room, Fynn and I took turns being the knight and the king. Paige was the royal kitten. We slayed a dragon by grabbing it by the tail and hitting it against the couch. Obviously our methods are totally up to date.

Paige wrote her first story today. I helped with telling her the letters, but she initiated and was determined. "Mamma dog had a surprise for little dog..."

Milestones amid applesauce muffins and dragon slayings.

  2. My theory is that it takes half as many days as a trip/visit/illness lasts to get back into the normal swing of things. It sounds like you've gotten there even more quickly.

By the way, I think your dragon-slaying methods are totally state of the art. xo

  3. We would have fun at your house! We love to slay dragons, and bake, but not do the laundry.
