We were walking back from a scootering adventure. It went: kid, scooter, me, scooter, kid, and we were all holding on trying to make it back to the car. One kid was mopey {later to be found with a fever...} and the other was marveling at the flowers that we passed, how the clouds looked, the height of the trees.
And then she said it.
"Mama, I think this is love."
My heart melted. Tears stung. I swiped a kiss and a squeeze as the scooters fell on the cement path.

ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful picture to go with a beautiful moment! Love it.
