between the time they stomped to their room, and when they came down {sweet as pie i might add...} i wound yarn. i got ready for the next few projects and dreamed as my swift spun, winding skeins into balls. loveliness.
the day ended on a much better note than it started.
{a little more chickadee... in lichen... for a gretchen}
{and my first try with madelinetosh tosh dk in the beautiful nebula... for the water's edge cardigan
that has my name all over it..}

Those yarn colors are simply stunning...I checked out chickadee's website and loved all the yarn there and then the patterns. I really do need to learn to knit because then I could shop for those colors to make something...I need to get off my duff and not be afraid (to fail!).
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what I would have done with my children...let them work it out and not make it with me in the middle. Wise mother you are!
I really love this new space, sister. It's peaceful, and calming, and simple. I really, really love it.
ReplyDeleteThat is all :)
Love,

Yummy yarns! I'm dying to try some Madeline Tosh yarn. I've heard so much good stuff about it.
